Simoo Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RAPIDCO DIGITAL SOLUTIONS (UEN
53481079M) ("Simoo", "we", "us", "our"), operator of
simoo.store and the Simoo installable web app (together, the
"Service"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal
data. It applies to visitors, account holders, and customers of the
Service.
If you have questions about this Policy or how your data is handled, contact us at support@simoo.store.
1. Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | Email address, password (hashed), account creation date | You, when you sign up |
| Order data | Plans purchased, order status, price paid, currency, checkout group | You, generated by the Service |
| Payment data | Card details, billing information | Collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor — Simoo never receives or stores your full card number |
| eSIM & usage data | Data used (GB), device/connection status, eSIM expiry date, order reference | Our network/eSIM partners, via automatic status syncing |
| Device & technical data | IP address, browser type, device type, push-notification subscription endpoint | Automatically, from your browser/device |
| Communications | Support emails and their content, marketing opt-in/opt-out status | You, when you contact us |
| Cookies & similar technologies | Session identifiers, authentication tokens | Automatically, via the Service |
We do not knowingly collect biometric data, government ID, or precise real-time GPS location. Coverage/data-usage figures are network-level aggregates from our network partners, not device location tracking.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- create and manage your account, and authenticate you;
- process your orders: confirm payment with our payment processor, and submit the corresponding eSIM order to our network partners;
- deliver your eSIM QR code and order confirmation by email, and show your orders in "My eSIMs";
- send service notifications you've enabled — order received, eSIM ready, data running low, plan expiring soon — by email and/or push notification;
- respond to customer support requests;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations (e.g. payment recordkeeping);
- with your consent, send marketing communications about new destinations or plans (you may opt out at any time).
We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Who We Share Your Data With
We share personal data only as necessary to provide the Service, with the following categories of recipients:
| Recipient | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Payment processor | Payment/billing details, order total | To process your payment securely |
| Network / eSIM partners | Order details necessary to provision the plan (no payment data) | To activate and monitor your eSIM on partner networks |
| Service providers (hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, and similar operational vendors) | Account data, order data, and the minimum information each provider needs to perform its function | To operate, host, and run the Service reliably and securely |
| Law enforcement / regulators | Data as legally required | Where we are compelled by law, court order, or valid legal process |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
4. International Data Transfers
Simoo is based in Singapore, but the providers listed in §3 may process or store data in other countries (for example, the United States or the EU), depending on where their infrastructure is located. Where we transfer personal data outside of Singapore or your home jurisdiction, we rely on our processors' own compliance frameworks and contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses, where applicable) to protect your data in transit and at rest.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as necessary to:
- resolve disputes, support refund/replacement claims (§6 of the Terms of Service);
- comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for financial records, per Singapore requirements);
- enforce our agreements.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer required for the purposes above.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your account and associated personal data, subject to §5;
- object to or restrict certain processing (e.g. marketing);
- withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@simoo.store. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time required by applicable law (for example, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or other regional laws where relevant).
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage to keep you logged in (authentication session tokens) and to remember your cart during checkout. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent.
8. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications for our installable web app, we store a push subscription endpoint tied to your browser/device so we can send you order and eSIM status alerts. You can revoke this at any time by disabling notifications in your browser or device settings; this immediately stops further pushes and we delete the stored subscription.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:
- encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) across the Service;
- access controls that ensure customers can only ever access their own account, order, and eSIM records;
- verification checks on inbound systems to prevent spoofed or fraudulent requests;
- restricting payment card handling entirely to our PCI-compliant payment processor, so Simoo never stores full card numbers.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party websites (for example, our payment processor's own pages during checkout). This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post any changes here with an updated "Last updated" date, and where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email).
