How it works

Everything from picking a plan to getting online abroad.

    Check device compatibility

    Your phone needs eSIM support and must be carrier-unlocked. Most phones from 2019 onwards qualify.

    Choose your destination

    Search for the country or region you're travelling to and open its destination page.

    Select a data plan

    Compare data allowance, validity and price. Buying for several travellers? Increase the quantity in your cart.

    Purchase

    Check out with your email address. You'll get an order confirmation immediately.

    Receive your QR code

    Your eSIM is prepared with our network partner — this usually takes a few minutes. The order page updates automatically.

    Install the eSIM

    Scan the QR code over Wi-Fi, ideally before you fly. Manual SM-DP+ details are available if you prefer.

    Connect to the local network

    On arrival, set the Simoo eSIM as your data line and switch data roaming on for it. You're online.

Installation guide

Follow the steps for your device. Stay on Wi-Fi while installing.

  1. 1Connect to Wi-Fi and open Settings.
  2. 2Tap Cellular (or Mobile Service), then Add eSIM.
  3. 3Choose Use QR Code and scan the Simoo QR code.
  4. 4Label the plan “Simoo” so it's easy to recognise.
  5. 5Keep your primary line for calls and texts, and set Simoo as the line for cellular data.
  6. 6Turn on Data Roaming for the Simoo line — this is required and costs nothing extra.
